DFREL'S Mission
To empower students to become leaders in Solar Land Development through "Agrivoltaic Farming," by providing the students with the knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to understand, design, and implement Agrivoltaic systems.
Through hands-on learning and interactive activities, we help to create a positive mindset and enthusiasm for Agrivoltaic Farming. We aim to prepare the next generation of Agrivoltaic Farmers to make the most of the opportunities available in this growing field and to be productive and responsible stewards of the environment.
DFREL was invited to participate in the “Technical School Night” at the Hanover Center for Trades and Technology on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Tony White, Market Development Director, and David Filegar, Land Acquisition Director, provided educational opportunities for students to learn about solar energy and its importance to the environment. At DFREL, we want to help students understand the potential of agrivoltaics, how it can benefit their communities, and assure them they are helping to protect the environment for future generations.
